The PurFlo Cot Bed Mattress
is a scientific breakthrough for infant safety and hygiene. It is completely washable at up to 60 degrees C, a feature that no other mattress can offer. What's more, the PurFlo mattress is completely hollow, leaving nowhere for household dust mites (HDM), Fungi or bacteria to live. The padding around the edge of the PurFlo mattress contains Amicor pure, an intelligent fibre that offers further protection against HDM, their associated allergens, fungi and bacteria.
This combined protection ensures that allergen levels in your baby's sleeping environment are well below the levels that trigger asthma attacks.
It is worthy of note that there is evidence that some 70% of childhood Asthma is linked to HDM allergens, with similar statistics applicable for Eczema. The Purflo Mattress provides better support than most mattresses by making contact with your baby from top to toe as they sleep, contouring the baby's body and giving optimum support, exactly where it is needed. The completely air permeable, conformable surface means that there is a full flow of fresh air around the baby at all times.
